Machine embroidery has been a passion of mine for many years now! It started as a hobby with my first little Janome machine but it wasn’t long before I bought a small industrial machine and started a business in professional embroidery from home. Many hours a day were spent digitising and stitching corporate logos but I made sure I still found the time to develop my own creativity with digitising and quilting.
My husband, Ciaran (pronounced Kieran) has been a Primary School Teacher for over 12 years and he still loves finding new and exciting ways to share his love of learning with all of his students. He is an innovator in his field and believes that student engagement is the key to successful learning. For him, there is nothing more rewarding than being part of the development of our future adults.
It was therefore a natural progression for us to ‘marry’ our skills in education and embroidery to create 1-2-3 Embroidery! We have heaps of exciting educational projects and games in the making (as well as designs for embellishing children’s projects, clothing etc … because I just can’t resist!) and we welcome you aboard this wonderful journey into a new style of education and embroidery!

What format are your designs offered in? Our designs are offered in: DST, HUS, JEF, PCS, PES, SEW, VIP and XXX. Please note: SEW and PCS formats are not available for the 5” x 7” designs. If you're not sure which format your embroidery machine uses, please check your user's manual to find the best format for your machine. The following guide may be of assistance:
Can I resize the designs? You are welcome to resize our designs, however, we do not recommend resizing designs more or less than 10% of their original size. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the same the quality of any resized design as this may be altered during the resizing process. Due to their unique properties, lacework or appliqué designs should not be resized. What currency are the designs priced in? All prices noted on this site are in Australian dollars. GST has been included in the advertised price - applicable for purchasers with a delivery destination within Australia. How are my designs delivered? Once your payment has been cleared, you will receive an email with your encrypted download links included for instant download. Should you not receive your designs or have any difficulty in opening them, please email us at embroidery123@optusnet.com.au and we can send you the files as an attachment. Do you supply your designs on CD? If you would prefer your designs on a CD, we are happy to send them to you for an additional charge of $5.00 per disk. What is your refund policy? Due to the nature of embroidery software, unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges. Please be assured that all of our designs have been manually punched and test stitched a number of times prior to being offered for sale to ensure you receive designs of the highest quality.
What is your Privacy Policy?
We value your privacy as much as you do! When you order through our secure online service or elect to receive our newsletter, your details are only used for internal management purposes. We will never give, sell or trade any personal information to any outside person or organization unless one of the following applies: • You have consented • It is required or authorised by law • It will prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to somebody's life or health
What are your Terms of Use?
In-the-hoop projects and anything that you make with one of our designs embroidered on it can be used for personal use, given as a gift or donated. Should you wish to resell any of our projects or items with our designs embroidered on them, please contact us for prior consent. The design files themselves (either purchased or free) may not be transferred to anyone else. Please do not sell, auction, trade or include them in any other design package as this is a violation of copyright. What if I have any other questions?
